1900 Census: Volume V. Agriculture, Part 1, Farms, Live Stock, and Animal Products

This is a final Census Report on Agriculture of the Twelfth Census, taken in the year 1900.

Part I, which constitutes Volume V of the Census Reports, contains statistics on agricultural progress of fifty years; buildings on farms; changes in the center of agriculture in the United States; classification of farms by area, principal source of income, reported value of products of 1899 not fed to livestock; tenure, and color or race of farmer; value of farm products; farm labor; fertilizers; domestic animals; neat cattle, dairy cows and dairy industry; horses; mules, etc.
