Boundary and Annexation Survey (BAS) New Incorporations, Mergers, Consolidations, and Disincorporations

If your government recently incorporates and would like to participate in BAS, please Contact Us. In order to participate in BAS, the Census Bureau will need:

  • A copy of the official new incorporation papers, including date of incorporation.
  • A map indicating the boundaries of the new incorporation.
  • Contact information for the Highest Elected Official and a contact for BAS.
