The Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey (CPS) Child Support Supplement (CSS) collects detailed information on child support agreements, required payments and actual amounts of child support receipt. These CPS-CSS tables provide national data about the receipt of child support payments by custodial parents and provide a variety of demographic characteristics of custodial parents and their families. Receipt of child support payments is presented at the individual level.
