Data Gem: What Is the Margin of Error?

Description

Do you need to build confidence in understanding the margin of error (MOE)? The Census Bureau often shares this statistic, which offers additional insights into the percentages and estimates we provide. A MOE describes the amount of error for an estimate resulting from utilizing a sample of the total population. By the end of this Data Gem, you will understand why we offer MOEs and how an estimate, paired with its MOE, describes a population.
