The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum's "Today is Ours—Class of 2016" exhibit uses census records to trace the backgrounds of 8 of the 34 female students in the "Class of 1916" at Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical School (now Oklahoma State University), in Stillwater, OK. Census records provided information about the women's birthplaces and families. Following graduation, the 1920, 1930 and 1940 records showed that some married and started families while others pursued careers in education and social work.

The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum used census records to trace the backgrounds of eight women who graduated from the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical School in 1916.
