Frazier History Museum

The "Spirits of the Bluegrass: Prohibition and Kentucky," exhibit at the Frazier History Museum in Louisville, KY, used census data related to alcohol consumption rates in the 18th and 19th century to tell the story of Prohibition in the state. The exhibit also used the census' immigration data, particularly for German households, to show how anti-immigrant sentiment factored into Prohibition becoming a national law from 1920 to 1933.
