The Computer History Museum's new exhibit—"Revolution: The First 2000 Years of Computing"—chronicles the history of computing on a global scale, from the abacus to the smartphone. Visitors can experience one-of-a-kind objects, devices, and software, while hearing the firsthand accounts from the innovators who set the revolution in motion. Among the innovators featured is Herman Hollerith, creator of the tabulating machine first used by the U.S. Census Bureau during the 1890 Census.
