I am pleased to announce the selection of Carol Gore, president/CEO, Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA), as the vice chair of the National Advisory Committee on Racial, Ethnic, and Other Populations, effective immediately. Carol is stepping into her new role with a wealth of knowledge and experience, including housing, rural areas, and AIAN considerations.
Before joining CIHA, Gore was vice president of income producing real estate for Cook Inlet Region Inc., where she managed a national and Alaska-based portfolio valued at more than $200 million. As president and Chief Executive Officer of CIHA, Carol’s leadership has mapped a new strategic direction for the authority to aggressively develop quality affordable housing throughout south central Alaska and to diversify CIHA’s portfolio, in order to better serve the diverse clientele in the region.
Please join me in congratulating Carol in her new role as the vice chair of National Advisory Committee on Racial, Ethnic, and Other Populations.
