Reimbursable Agreements

The Census Bureau enters into a reimbursable agreement when it provides a service to another agency or commercial entity and is reimbursed for costs.

We provide the templates below in order to show you what a typical reimbursable agreement looks like. If you become interested in pursuing a reimbursable agreement with the U.S. Census Bureau, please contact us for information on how to proceed.

Data Acquisition

The Census Bureau is authorized to acquire data for statistical uses from federal agencies and other parties, and enters into agreements for this purpose.

We provide the templates below in order to show you what a typical data acquisition agreement looks like. If you are interested in pursuing an agreement to provide statistical data to the U.S. Census Bureau, please contact us for information on how to proceed.

Joint Statistical Projects

The Census Bureau is authorized to engage in joint statistical projects with federal agencies and other non-profit organizations, as long as the costs for these projects are shared equitably.

We provide the template below in order to show you what a typical agreement for a joint statistical project looks like. If you are interested in pursuing a joint statistical project with Census Bureau staff, please contact us for information on how to proceed.
