The U.S. International Trade in Goods and Services (FT900) Press Release Schedule provides recent and upcoming release dates for the FT900. Exhibit 16 (U.S. Trade in Advanced Technology Products) of the FT900 offers the trade balance, import, and export monthly, year-to-date, and annual totals for the past three years. Furthermore, Exhibit 16a (U.S. Trade in Advanced Technology Products by Technology Group and Selected Countries and Areas) of the FT900 provides the trade balance, import, and export totals by technology group for the current and prior month and current and prior year-to-date.
The Annual Business Survey (ABS) Release Schedule provides upcoming release information for the ABS. The Digital Technology Module tables of the ABS offer digital share of business activity, cloud service purchases, and business technologies data at the U.S. and state level. The ABS uses the collection year (the year the survey was collected) in the survey name rather than the reference year (the year the survey collects data on). This is in an effort to better reflect the collection cycle of the survey. On August 27, 2020, the Digital Technology Module tables were released for the first time. Those tables are associated with the 2018 ABS. The 2018 Digital Technology Module tables are the most recent version available.
