2019 SIPP Data
Beginning with the 2018 SIPP, data are collected as yearly overlapping panels with new panels beginning each year. The 2019 SIPP includes Wave 1 of the 2019 Panel and Wave 2 of the 2018 Panel. The 2019 SIPP faced data collection challenges that resulted in insufficient geographic coverage for some primary sample units (PSUs), and lower-than-average unit response rates nationally. ⚠️ An issue was discovered with Social Security Income processing that affected 2014 through 2021 SIPP data. Please see the Processing Error Affecting Social Security ‘Self’ Amounts user note for more information.
