The U.S. Census Bureau would like to work with you in preparation for the upcoming Economic Census, a comprehensive measurement of the U.S. economy. 

Every five years, the U.S. Census Bureau conducts the Economic Census that surveys millions of businesses for the most comprehensive measure of the U.S. economy, providing industry statistics at the national, state, and local levels. These data products provide the foundation for other key measures of economic performance. Businesses representing all types of industries will be requested to participate in the Economic Census.

Industry leaders, policymakers, trade associations, chambers and businesses use our economic data for planning and decision-making at every industry level and local geographies.
