Census Bureau Researchers Present Findings at 2023 Population Association of America Conference

APRIL 12, 2023 — U.S. Census Bureau researchers are scheduled to join other demographers, sociologists, economists and professionals from across the country and from different disciplines at the 2023 Population Association of America annual conference April 12-15, in New Orleans.

This year, Census Bureau researchers will present findings on a variety of topics including:

  • Transforming the U.S. Census Bureau: New Approaches to Longstanding Programs and Persistent Challenges
  • Analyzing Mental Health Outcomes Among Sexual and Gender Minority Populations: Evidence from the Experimental Household Pulse Survey
  • Comparing Linked and Unlinked Foreign-born Demographic Distributions From the American Community Survey to Selected Administrative Records Databases

Other presentation topics include net migration patterns, COVID-19 data and research, and intergenerational relations. The papers are based on data from the Current Population Survey, the Survey of Income and Program Participation, the American Community Survey and administrative records.
