October 25, 2017 — Today, the U.S. Census Bureau announced the launch of a new content section on census.gov called America Counts: Stories Behind the Numbers. Designed in the style of an online newsroom, America Counts features headlines, graphics, videos and stories about Census Bureau data. Among the current stories, you will find out where the birth rate is booming, why a rise in minimum wage may not mean more money for food servers, and who is helping Philadelphia rebound.
America Counts can be found under the Library tab or by clicking on the slider image on the census.gov home page from any device.
The Census Bureau is the leading source of quality data on America’s people, places and economy.
