This series of reports presents figures on selected characteristics of the population of the smaller States. The reports in this series are numbered in alphabetical order according to the names of the States. The number of the report, therefore, does not indicate the sequence of publication.
Tables included:
- Color by Sex, for (State), urban and rural: 1950 and 1940
- Age by Sex, for (State), urban and rural: 1950 and 1940
Preliminary sample data for the 10 larger States will be found in Series PC-6: 1950 Census of Population: Population of select States and Puerto Rico.
