1920 Census: Volume 10. Manufactures, 1919, Reports for Selected Industries

This is the tenth volume of the 11 final reports of the Fourteenth Census, taken in the year 1920. The statistics and other materials found in these volumes are based upon data originally issued as advance bulletins for population, agriculture, irrigation, drainage, manufactures, and mines and quarries.

Volume X, the third of three volumes on Manufactures, presents special reports on the leading industries of the U.S. The report is arranged in the following industrial groups:

  • Textiles and their products
  • Iron and Steel and Their Products
  • Lumber and Its Remanufactures
  • Leather and Its Finished Products
  • Paper and Printing
  • Chemicals and Allied Products
  • Stone, Clay, and Glass Products

  • Vehicles for Land Transportation
  • Railroad Repair Shops
