This is the second of four final Census Reports on Population of the Thirteenth Census, taken in the year 1910. It incorporates statistics and other materials originally issued as advance State, abstract, or miscellaneous bulletins.
Volume II contains a separate report on the population for the District of Columbia and each of the first 24 states in alphabetical order (Alabama to Montana). For each state, there are statistics on the number of inhabitants and on the composition and characteristics of the population.
Census statistics date back to 1790 and reflect the growth and change of the United States. Past census reports contain some terms that today’s readers may consider obsolete and inappropriate. As part of our goal to be open and transparent with the public, we are improving access to all Census Bureau original publications and statistics, which serve as a guide to the nation's history.
