Programming Requirements

Major Changes to AES
  • There will be a significant change in the way corrections are performed:
    • It will no longer be acceptable to perform the "Delete" then "Add" function to make corrections.
    • Corrections must be performed using the "Change" or "Replace" functions.
  • There will be new filing requirements:
  • New ITNs will not be issued when corrections are made to previously submitted shipments.
AES Education Testing
  • Implementation occured on June 7, 2004 -- one day earlier than planned.
  • You may continue to test your software in AES Education.
  • If you were not able to upgrade your software, you may file free on the Internet via AESDirect.
